Many people will only build one home in their life. At Fields Construction, we work to make the experience stress-free, enjoyable and fulfilling for you.

Founder Peter Fields remains personally involved with every project. But our real success comes from a dedicated construction team. Daughter and Virginia Tech alumnus, Jennifer Hungate leads the day to day communication between specific customer product selection and our field supervisors and contractors. Doug Barry, field supervisor, is in his 10th year with Fields Construction and brings over 30 years of construction experience to the team. Todd Smith, also a field supervisor, completes the team with a strong carpentry, roofing, and hands-on construction experience. The construction team is crucial to delivering top quality home building to our customers. We have found this is the only way to deliver exceptional value and craftsmanship. It is about translating your vision into a tangible home you can enjoy for many years.
